Acer plans “Liquid” Android smartphone push
Acer today unveiled four Android models that the Taiwanese electronics-maker will ship in the third quarter under the “Liquid” brand, although pricing details were not revealed. At the top end, Acer unveiled the 5.7-inch Liquid X1, a 4G phone equipped with two cameras and an eight-core 1.7 GHz MediaTek processor. The phone features a split-screen option for users to operate on separate applications and the “Acer Zoom Fit” that enables one-hand operation. PCWorld (5/30)
